FIA WEC 6 Hours of Fuji 26/09-28/09/2025

FAQ

FIA WEC FUJI

For the 6 Hours of Fuji, support races typically feature various GT and single-make series to complement the main event. However, the exact support races for the upcoming weekend haven’t been confirmed yet. In 2024, the race was supported by the Regional Formula Japan Championship, so a similar series could be expected.

Always try to arrive early, especially on Sundays. Expect queues at the arrivals and entrances. The race weekend programme can be found here.

Motorsport is noisy, but earplugs are optional. However, it is recommended that you have them with you. If you are going to the circuit with children, always protect their hearing!

Feel free to bring flags, banners, and other items to support your favourite driver. However, make sure that your equipment does not obstruct the view of other spectators. Pyrotechnics are not allowed on the circuit.

In practice, this is possible, but it is highly recommended that you also have it printed. An electronic version may not be accepted by the organiser. If you choose to have the ticket only on your mobile phone, you must have it saved on your phone and do not rely, for example, on retrieving it from an email. Mobile signal and data services may be down during the weekend.

If you have a ticket for the grandstand, you can get to it through the appropriate entrance. Take a look at the circuit map. With a general admission ticket, you can enter selected zones.

PRACTICAL

The 6 Hours of Fuji, part of the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC), is held at Fuji Speedway, located in Oyama, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. This iconic circuit is situated near the base of Mount Fuji, offering breathtaking views of Japan's tallest mountain on clear days.

There are a variety of food vendors and stalls available, offering local and international cuisines. Official FIA WEC and team merchandise are also available on-site. Restroom facilities are located throughout the venue, including drinking water fountains to refill plastic bottles.

The best way to get to the Fuji Speedway depends on factors, such as your location, transportation preferences and availability of services.

To reach Fuji Speedway, there are several convenient options. By bus, the Odakyu Highway Bus offers direct service from the Shinjuku Expressway Bus Terminal to the Fuji Speedway Hotel, located near the circuit. The journey takes approximately 2 hours and 20 minutes, with tickets priced around ¥1,800.

By train, travellers can take the Odakyu Romancecar "Mt. Fuji" from Shinjuku Station to Gotemba Station, which takes about 95 minutes. Alternatively, the JR Tokaido Main Line connects Tokyo Station to Kozu Station, where passengers can transfer to the JR Gotemba Line toward Gotemba Station, a total travel time of approximately 2 hours. From Gotemba Station, visitors can use the Fujikyuko Bus to reach Fuji Speedway’s East and West Gates, a ride that takes about 25 minutes.

Taxis are another option, with a direct ride to Fuji Speedway taking roughly 20 minutes. For those driving, the route from Tokyo involves the Tomei Expressway to the Gotemba Interchange, followed by local roads to Fuji Speedway. The drive typically takes around 1.5 hours, depending on traffic conditions.
